Reference is made to the main aspects related to the administration of microcredits in Colombia and how it influences the bankarization of independents and microentrepreneurs. It also explains how traditional banking prepares to evolve, through fintech and mobile banking. Finally, a descriptive model is proposed using a sample of Banco W's clients to identify the acceptance of the bank's products from digital platforms. It is concluded that ignorance and access are the main engines for the disuse of digital banking.

In this paper, an analysis about the role that Fintech has had in the growth of savings accounts and CDTs in Colombia is made, as well as the performance of the four banks with greater appropriation of the new technologies: Bancolombia, Banco de Bogotá, BBVA and Scotiabank Colpatria. A mixed, quantitative and qualitative methodology is implemented, based on secondary sources and that allow even knowing the users' perception. It is found that the implementation of Fintech in traditional banking generated a symbiotic relationship and represents a tool with great potential to generate financial inclusion and improve banking services. Likewise, there are challenges to reach a true technological transformation in pillars such as regulation, corporate culture, financial disintermediation, financial risks and consumer protection.

(Universidad EAFIT, 2019) Benavides Gaviria, Daniel Fernando; Flor García, Gustavo Adolfo; Vergara Garavito, Judith Cecilia
The world and Colombia are evolving significantly towards digital banking, with an increasingly crucial infrastructure and financial regulation according to this transition, becoming the main factor for the development of favorable financial results. However, the transition to digital banking has not happened at the same rate for all financial institutions in the country, which is why this proposal analyzes the digital strategies used, as well as the results obtained under a base of four pillars. These pillars are known as open innovation, clients, employees and the operational process and redesign of the offices, focused on two entities that are the headquarters of Banco de Occidente (national 2 bank) and a subsidiary of Banco BBVA (Banco Internacional) in the city of Cali. The two entities show favorable results, although with a different advance. Banco BBVA Colombia confirms that it is a leader in Colombia in digital transformation, while Banco de Occidente has been operating for two years with a digital transformation process that is just beginning to generate its first results.
