    In order to broaden the interest in the written repertoire for trombone of Colombian authors, this article deals with the work of the composer Samuel Bedoya Sánchez, Sonata en las formas llaneras. A musical and descriptive analysis of this piece is presented in order to consolidate and provide interpretative elements. The article also seeks to disseminate the new Colombian repertoire for trombone, especially the one based on Colombian folklore, since it reflects rhythms of llanera music, such as joropo, in trombone and piano format.
