    The purpose of the Proyecto Core Seguros Generales area is to transform the assurance processes of Seguros Generales’s solutions to obtain efficiency and speed in the operation, through projects in which different organizational knowledge must be integrated. Currently there are several issues associated with knowledge that are restricting the timely fulfillment of the objectives, because of this, it was proposed to carry out an investigation about the adequate knowledge management in this area. For this, a review of the state of the art of knowledge problems in Project-Oriented Organizations was made, and then, based on Knowledge Management and Project Management in these types of organizations, obtain a better understanding of the situation and to be able to recommend a portfolio of Knowledge Management initiatives to solve it.
