Ítem Elementos de juicio para la destinación de recursos hacia la mejora del desempeño de las comercializadoras de autopartes de Medellín mediante el uso del valor percibido por el cliente (VPC)(Universidad EAFIT, 2018) Cuevas Guarnizo, Juan David; Baby Moreno, JaimeThe goal of this research was to generate criteria to optimize the use of resources aimed to improve the performance of autoparts suppliers in the city of Medellin, using the perceived customer value (PCV) model. The procedure begun by identifying the different factors (attributes) that customers (small and medium size automotive maintenance and repair shops) value when comparing the different offers of autoparts available in the market. Then, the relative importance of each attributes was calculated. The third step consisted in measuring the performance of suppliers, namely car dealers shops, wholesalers, retailers and an imaginary ideal supplier, in terms of the value generating attributes. The ideal supplier is one that would receive the highest score possible on every attribute chosen by every respondent. Finally, a competitive analysis was carried out using the three pieces of information just described, which allowed the identification of strengths, weaknesses, threats and market opportunities.
