    La ansiedad en los músicos : estímulos que la desencadenan y herramientas para manejarla. Un estudio de caso a partir de la experiencia de cinco estudiantes de piano de la Universidad Eafit

    This research article aims to reflect on the phenomenon of anxiety in musicians, understanding the stimuli that trigger it and suggesting some tools to manage it. For this purpose, a case study was conducted with five piano students from Universidad Eafit, to whom the Beck Anxiety Inventory was applied to measure anxiety levels, and a semi-structured interview was conducted to deepen in the stimuli and origin of anxiety. The results showed that 80% of the participants suffer from severe anxiety and that among the stimuli that trigger it are various experiences related to university life: classes, concerts, exams, etc. It is concluded that although anxiety is an issue present in many music students, it is an issue that is not very common in the classroom, therefore, at the end of the article some tools for its management are provided.
