Departamento de Ingeniería Mecánica; Mecatrónica y Diseño de MáquinasThe optical design of a High-Power LED based Solar Simulator was made in order to reach the AM1.5G spectrum standards. An optical model of the light emitted by the LEDs was made and used for spectral intensities calculations and the light intensity uniformity was optimized. A class AAA solar simulator was designed using a hexagonal LED distribution.
